  Specializing in Burgundy but a great selection of fine wines not really a place for $10 wines! Owner very knowledgeable and goes out of his way to be helpful. Better quality wines than across the street!

  Great wine shop, probably the best I've ever visited, and certainly Thebes one in New Orleans. Rick and Brian are both great and are great at finding something for you regardless of your price or taste and even on the vaguest descriptions. They don't have a ton of California wines, but if that's what you're looking for, they will have some alternatives to suggest (and I think they can order for you). Just hang out a few minutes and pay attention to how they interact with the people who come in after you. This is how all retail should be.
